MontessoriTrac is accessed through the internet via User accounts. The level of access that a User account has is determined in the User record. A User account generally has unlimited access to the program; a User may create new records (Users, Teachers, Staff, Students, etc.), modify existing records, set preferences, and many more tasks. There are two main ways in which a new User account can be created. For further information, consult the MontessoriTrac User Guide.
From the Main Menu, select Create New: Users, fill in the information, and click Save. To create a new User account in this manner, first check if the account has already been created to avoid duplicates.
From the Main Menu, select Search For: Users. Review the current user accounts to be sure that you are not creating a duplicate, then click, New Record, fill in the information, and click Save.
