How do I upgrade my copy of AdvisorTrac?

Periodically, upgrades to the AdvisorTrac application and supporting files are available. As a Gold or Platinum maintenance subscriber, your copy of AdvisorTrac may be upgraded via the web. It is recommended that you upgrade your AdvisorTrac, when available, to receive the latest features and bug fixes.

Downloading the Upgrade

AdvisorTrac upgrades are .exe files that may be downloaded and executed. AdvisorTrac upgrades are located at a web site designated for that purpose. The web location varies depending on your Product ID and maintenance package.

Platinum subscribers are notified when upgrades are available and Redrock Software may even install the upgrades for you.

If you are not a Gold or Platinum subscriber, upgrades may be purchased individually. Contact Redrock Software Corporation for details (techsupport@go-redrock.com).

Installing the Upgrade

Copy the upgrade file (.exe) into the same location as the AdvisorTrac application. The file must be placed in the same location as AdvisorTrac in order for the update to be successfully installed.

After the upgrade file is copied to the appropriate location, quit AdvisorTrac, and execute the upgrade by double clicking on it. The update expands the information and places it in the appropriate locations.
